Indianapolis, April 25, 2009 – Safety Management Group Associates, led by Dan Hutchens of the Health Services Team, participated in the 2009 Rebuilding Together volunteer event along with 600 other volunteers in Indianapolis and thousands across the United States.
Rebuilding Together, an initiative to rehabilitate properties of low-income homeowners, targets the Bates-Hendricks portion of the Southeast Neighborhood Development, or SEND, bordered by I-70 on the north, I-65 on the east, East Minnesota Street on the south and Madison Avenue on the west.
Safety Management Group sponsored a house for the second year in a row. Dan Hutchens served as the team captain and fellow associates Kent Burget (and family), Collin McGrady, Mike Pennington, and Bobby Pirtle assisted with painting and general landscaping upgrades to a home in the Southeast Neighborhood Development.
