Detro, Gieseking Named Vice Presidents

 Indianapolis -- Kent Burget has announced that Todd Detro and Randy Gieseking will be named vice presidents of Safety Management Group effective January 22, 2007, joining Ron Hanson who was named a vice president in August of last year.
Detro will be promoted to vice president of Lilly services. 'Due to the importance of the Lilly relationship, it is imperative that it be managed by a vice president with a proven track record,' wrote Burget in an email distributed to managers on January 16th. 'With Todd's leadership and guidance Safety Management Group's involvement with the Lilly contractor program has grown and the program has had ongoing success.'
The Manager position left open within the owner services group will not be filled at this time.
Gieseking will assume the role of vice president of services. During his tenure at Safety Management Group Gieseking has provided oversight to the owner services group and the healthcare services group in Indianapolis. In an email distributed to managers on January 16th, Kent cited Gieseking's 'intense passion for success and strong leadership qualities,' as the driving force behind the successful management of the large accounts.
In addition to the Health Services Team, Gieseking will now begin to support Jesse Brazzell's Safety Services group, Dave Remter's anchor client, Gerdau Ameristeel, as well as providing leadership for future business growth opportunities.
Over the course of the next 12 months Ryan Graft will begin to assume responsibilities for managing the Clarian Health Design and Construction Safety Program.
