Entrepreneur of the Year Awards issued on June 9

 Indianapolis -- Twenty-two Entrepreneurs were featured at the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards ceremony held in Indianapolis on June 9.
Safety Management Group's Kent Burget was honored as one of three finalist in the Services category. Charles Lazzara of Ritz Charles, Inc. was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year title in the category, narrowly edging out Kent and Neal Rothermel of Virtual Meeting Strategies.
The awards ceremony was held at the Murat and featured short video clips of each of the finalists. Dawn Burget, Jesse Brazzell, Ron Hanson, Bobby Pirtle, and Safety Management Group legal counsel Russell Cox were present at the event.
There will be a special insert in this week's Indiana Business Journal commemorating the event and providing information on all the finalists, including Kent.
Special thanks are extended to Dan Touw for nominating Kent for this award. It was a tremendous honor for Kent and Safety Management Group to be named a finalist.
