Gokey and Tinney Recognized for Blitz

Indianapolis -- Gerdau Ameristeel's Corporate Safety Director Matt Moore presented Gary Gokey and Robb Tinney with plaques on October 4, 2006 during a visit to Safety Management Group's corporate office in Indianapolis.
The awards recognize Gary and Robb for their past efforts with Gerdau and their newly-acquired company Sheffield Steel (Joliet, Illinois and Sand Springs, Oklahoma). Matt thanked them for their part in the Safety Blitz and mentioned that this was the first time Gerdau had given this type of recognition to other than a Gerdau employee.
Due to Gary and Robb's efforts, Gerdau plans to have us assist them in performing future Safety Blitz's anytime new companies are purchased.
Congratulations to Gary and Robb for their outstanding customer service to Gerdau Ameristeel.
