Golf Outing for the Riley Hospital for Children Raises $10,000 2

Brownsburg, Indiana -- Safety Management Group's second annual Charity Golf Outing for the Riley Hospital for Children occurred Thursday, May 19, 2005.

Over one hundred and thirty golfers participated in the event that was temporarily halted due to thunderstorm activity.

The event was coordinated by Safety Management Group's Healthcare Services Group associates Jeff Melson and Ryan Graft. The outing occurred at the West Chase Golf Club in Brownsburg, Indiana.

Clarian Health Partners' Project Manager Donnie Reed offered comments during the awards banquet that immediately followed the round. An estimated $10,000 was collected at the event to benefit the Riley Hospital for Children.

The foursome representing BMW Constructors consisting of Tony Kanaly, Chris Buckman, Tim Isle, and Safety Management Group's Ron Hanson placed first in the 18 hole tournament.

The team representing Indy Core consisting of Kent Merrill, Karl Smith, Scott Wollums, and Clay Zigler finished second overall in the tournament.

Third place was secured by Greg Tiernan, Kurt Suppiger, Greg Taylor, and Al Donato III, representing the The Freije Company.

Mandy Hofer and Diane Hesson were winners of the Women's Longest drives.

The Men's Longest Drive Contest was won by Gary Struck and Phil Meehan.

Trevor Moyer received recognition for the 'closest to the pin' competition and Terry Wiles won the putting contest.
