Golf Outing for the Riley Hospital for Children Raises Nearly $10k

Danville, Indiana -- Safety Management Group's third annual Charity Golf Outing for the Riley Hospital for Children occurred Friday, May 19, 2006.
Over one hundred and thirty-six golfers participated in the event coordinated by Safety Management Group's Healthcare Services Group associates Randy Gieseking, Ryan Graft, and Jeff Melson.
The foursome from Litgen Concrete Cutting posted 10 under par, winning the event. Team members include: Junior Shircliff, Bryan Smith, Curtis Justen, and Andy Canady.
Wurster Construction President Steve Hodgson summed up the event as follows:
From first arriving and getting help with my golf bag to the'nice lunch, wonderful golf course, drink carts that were always there,'and finishing with'the digital photo slide'show and the wonderful presentation by your special guests that brought a tear to the eye of some 100 construction professions, just a great, great job...Hats off to you and all others that helped SMG put on a first class outing.
Early estimates indicate nearly $10,000 was raised for the hospital at the event.
