Pepper Construction Recognized at MICCS Event

 Indianapolis, May 13, 2006 -- Pepper Construction and Eli Lilly and Company were big winners at the 12th Annual Metro Indianapolis Coalition for Construction (MICCS) Awards Banquet held in downtown Indianapolis on May 13.
Pepper Construction's Dave Murphy received the 2006 Excellence in Safety Crystal Eagle Award on behalf of Pepper Construction. Bruce McDonald of Eli Lilly and Company received Project of the Year honors. Other notable recipients included Eli Lilly and Company's Paul Lee who recevied the Board of Directors Award and former Safety Management Group associate Doug Condon, who accepted the Safety Leader in Construction Management Award on behalf of Shiel Sexton.
The largest gathering of the industry in Central Indiana, the MICCS Awards program has become an important tool that area companies use to improve their safety program. Each year, many companies use the competition as a way of conducting an inventory of their safety program, making sure that it is updated while also considering changes to improve their program. In this highly competitive industry, many companies recognize the Awards Program as a great tool to let the industry know that the company takes the safety of its employees to heart, by having a program that is worthy of recognition.
