Safety Management Group Assists Contractor at Honda Construction Project in Greensburg, Indiana

Indianapolis -- Safety Management Group is providing staffing services and project safety oversight for an industrial electrical contractor on the Honda Manufacturing of Indiana project in Greensburg, Indiana for the next seven months. The $550 million automobile plant will produce the Honda Civic sedan beginning fall 2008.

Located 50 miles southeast of Indianapolis, the Honda plant will begin mass production of fuel efficient 4-cylinder vehicles in fall 2008. The plant will have an annual production capacity of 200,000 vehicles and employment of 2,000 associates.

 

Brenda Cullison

 
Safety Management Group Safety Advisor Brenda Cullison is assisting our client at the site. Brenda refined her safety consulting skills as a safety professional for Whirpool Corporation in Evansville, I ndiana and Koneta Rubber Company of Wapakoneta, Ohio. As a site safety coordinator for State Group Industrial, Brenda provided project safety services during a year long project at GE Plastics in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. Most recently, Brenda served as the safety director for Davis Piping and Excavation of Seymour, Indiana.

Brenda's role on the Honda project is to serve as a safety advisor to an electrical contractor at the site. She assist the client by providing field observations, assistance with preplanning, onsite training, and interpretation of the safety requirements of IOSHA and the owner.
