Indianapolis, January 15, 2009 – Safety Management Group Associates mobilized quickly to perform short-notice site assessments for an important client in locations throughout the United States.
The request initiated by McGriff, Seibels & Williams (Web Site) to Safety Management Group in November resulted in a quick series of site visits to 28 restaurants in 12 states. The project involved the performance of loss control assessments of a national chain of Mexican food service client.
Understanding the need to get these visits performed quickly and successfully, Safety Management Group summoned advisors in Indianapolis and elsewhere to begin the project.
Visits were led by Safety Management Group Safety Advisor Gary Gokey, CSP, ARM. Gokey has over 25 years of loss control experience and was instrumental in leading this project, conducting the majority of the visits himself.
The schedule constraints required that these visits occur within a five week window. Safety Management Group mobilized quickly with staff located throughout the country to accomplish the project on time.
“Having a large number of talented associates with loss control experience was a tremendous benefit,” comments Ron Hanson, Vice President of Operations for Safety Management Group.
Safety Advisors were assigned from the corporate office in Indianapolis to perform visits that involved a thorough physical audit of each of the 28 restaurants and providing the customer with a detailed report on the status of life safety, food safety, loss history, management programs, and the safety & health programs of their operations.
Visits were performed to client locations in Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
