Safety Management Group Represented at Midwest Healthcare Conference

Indianpolis -- Safety Management Group was well-represented at the Midwest Healthcare Engineering Conference and Trade Show (website) at the Westin on Monday and Tuesday of this week.

The event was hosted by the Indiana Society for Healthcare Engineering (website), an organization with members located throughout the State and Midwestern United States.

Safety Management Group's Health Services Group has prepared numerous articles for the organization's publication entitled ISHE Issues (website).

Safety Management Group's Lissa Rullman also presented at the event. The session provided insights into the new NFPA 70E standard and was hosted by Clarian Health Partners Facilities Manager Chuck Fougnies and Lissa. The session included an overview of the new NFPA 70E requirements, a discussion on challenges faced by facility managers and maintenance personnel with the implementation of the standard, and concluded with a discussion and overview of the procedure and process that was implemented at Clarian Health to address the new requirements of NFPA 70E.

Scott Spence also assembled an information booth that he staffed along with Randy Gieseking. Information about specific services available to the healthcare industry from Safety Management Group were offered to attendees of the event.
