Steinberger Construction Earns National Safety Award

 Logansport, Indiana -- Steinberger Construction (Web Site), a long-time client of Safety Management Group was recognized in the July 2007 issue of Construction Executive Magazine for receiving the National Safety Excellence Award (news release). The magazine is published by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).
The 2006 National Safety Excellence Award winners were selected from ABC member firms achieving Platinum status in ABC's Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) program. Selection criteria for the national safety winners included each member's self-evaluation scores, lost workday case rates, total recordable rates, and interviews conducted by members of ABC's National Safety Committee.
'These winners have truly demonstrated their dedication to construction workplace safety,' said Dave Meyer, 2007 ABC national chairman and founding partner of The Meyer Companies, Lee's Summit, Mo. 'Creating safe work environments is top a priority for the association. ABC provides member firms with safety training programs, information and an annual safety training and evaluation process that serves as a benchmark and guide to maintaining an effective construction safety program.'
